* PLN #2

What matters from what you are reading? Think big question we are focusing on all semester. Think text to self connections.

I read a blog that is titled Naked man, 91, subdues intruder. The author is Denver Post. 09/21/2009, Robert E. Thompson woke up Saturday morning to his Rottweiler and Doberman pinscher mix dog barking like crazy because of a burglar had hopped his fence. Robert then grabbed his 38-caliber revolver and called the police with out ever getting dressed. The police say that Robert fired one shot as 26-year-old Jose Pasqual started to come toward him. Robert kept his gun pointed on Pasqual until deputies arrived.

This blog that I read matters because Robert decided that he was not going to get robbed so therefore he had no time to put on his clothes. I think that if he had put on his clothes Pasqual would have started his burglary process. The police sirens would have scared off Pasqual and it then would be a chase for him. Robert did the right thing even if he embarrassed himself.

I am not sure that I would have gone out side naked and held an intruder at gun point. That was very brave of him. I would have gotten dressed then would of called the police.

If someone was going to harm you or your possessions, would you have the courage to stop that person from doing the wrong thing? Robert in my point of view had the guts to go stop Pasqual from robing him, which this affects the thinking of others now. Others now are saying "What do we do in this situation, do we try to stop him or do we hide until the police show up?"
