What matters from what you are reading? Think big question we are focusing on all semester. Think text to self connections.

I read a blog that is titled "Is Starbucks Killing Community?" The author is David Warlick. The article is talking about how when you drink coffee you have hard times falling asleep. Later in the day it is now easier to fall asleep now that the coffee has worn off. All it takes is for you to drink a little coffee to wake up and in the end the consequence is you lying your head on you desk saying why the heck did i drink that coffee this morning. The real lesson that David Warlic is trying to say is that "NOTHING IN LIFE IS SIMPLE." People go to Starbucks to get away from there house. People also go to Starbucks to get WIFI. People sometimes go to Starbucks to grab a drink or food. This is all saying that the routine of Starbucks in the morning and night and anywhere between is not good for the human body and should be limited.

A thesis statement that goes along with this blog can be like; The amount of Starbucks that the average American consumer is a little to much for the body. In result the average American body is crashing midday due to the excess coffee amount. It is very important to know when to drink and not drink coffee we all can learn from this very interesting blog that David wrote.

If it were I drinking the coffee I would have a certain time that I could drink it but have a time that I hold back. This time would most likely be right before bed so I can get my sleep.

I read a blog that is titled Naked man, 91, subdues intruder. The author is Denver Post. 09/21/2009, Robert E. Thompson woke up Saturday morning to his Rottweiler and Doberman pinscher mix dog barking like crazy because of a burglar had hopped his fence. Robert then grabbed his 38-caliber revolver and called the police with out ever getting dressed. The police say that Robert fired one shot as 26-year-old Jose Pasqual started to come toward him. Robert kept his gun pointed on Pasqual until deputies arrived.

This blog that I read matters because Robert decided that he was not going to get robbed so therefore he had no time to put on his clothes. I think that if he had put on his clothes Pasqual would have started his burglary process. The police sirens would have scared off Pasqual and it then would be a chase for him. Robert did the right thing even if he embarrassed himself.

I am not sure that I would have gone out side naked and held an intruder at gun point. That was very brave of him. I would have gotten dressed then would of called the police.

If someone was going to harm you or your possessions, would you have the courage to stop that person from doing the wrong thing? Robert in my point of view had the guts to go stop Pasqual from robing him, which this affects the thinking of others now. Others now are saying "What do we do in this situation, do we try to stop him or do we hide until the police show up?"

I read a blog that is called Donations at Work. The author is Permalink. There is an organization that gave kids in Nata Village soccer balls. The organization is called R.A.D.S (REMOTE AREA DEVELOPMENT SERVICE). It is nice that R.A.D.S gave the kids soccer balls so that when they were out of school and done with all their homework, they could go to a certain place and play soccer. Nata Village has always had a soccer players but now they can build a team and compete. Another reason that it great for them to have those soccer balls is that it is great exercise. If I was one of those kids in that village I would be so great full for those soccer balls, because when I finished my homework I would be looking forward to playing soccer with my friends.

Soccer balls for the kids in Nata village is just what they needed because now they will not be bored after their homework is done.
